What time should I arrive?
The ceremony will begin promptly at 6:00 PM. We recommend arriving 20–30 minutes early so you have plenty of time to find your seat and get settled before the ceremony begins.
Where will the wedding take place?
Both the ceremony and reception will be held at the beautiful Hotel Le Pavillon in downtown New Orleans. Following the ceremony, guests will join us for a traditional New Orleans Second Line before continuing the celebration in the Bijoux Room.
What should I wear?
Our dress code is formal attire. Think elegant evening wear—suits or tuxedos for gentlemen and floor-length, midi, or elevated cocktail dresses for ladies. Our wedding has a dark, romantic fall atmosphere, so rich colors and jewel tones are especially welcome!
Are children invited?
Unless your invitation specifically includes your children, we kindly ask that you enjoy the evening as an adults-only celebration. We hope this gives everyone a chance to dress up, relax, and celebrate with us!
Can I bring a plus-one?
Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate the guests specifically listed on your invitation. If your invitation includes a guest, their name or “and Guest” will be noted when you RSVP.
What is a Second Line?
A Second Line is one of our favorite New Orleans traditions! After the ceremony, a brass band will lead the newlyweds and our guests through the streets for a celebratory parade filled with music and dancing. Just follow the band, grab a handkerchief, and have fun!
Do I have to participate in the Second Line?
Not at all, although we would love for you to join us! Guests who would rather skip the walk may remain at or return to the hotel and meet us for the reception afterward.
Should I bring comfortable shoes?
If you plan to Second Line and dance the night away, comfortable shoes are definitely a good idea! Feel free to bring a change of shoes for later in the evening.
Will the ceremony and reception be indoors?
The wedding festivities will primarily take place indoors at Hotel Le Pavillon, with our Second Line taking place outside on the surrounding streets of downtown New Orleans. Please keep the weather in mind when planning your attire.
Is there parking available?
Because Hotel Le Pavillon is located in downtown New Orleans, we recommend allowing extra time for parking and arrival. Rideshare services such as Uber and Lyft are also a convenient option, especially if you plan on enjoying cocktails at the reception. Valet parking is also offered at the hotel for $55 plus a 13% parking tax. There are also self-park garages within a short walk: Hancock Whitney Center Garage located at 484 Carondelet St / 701 Poydras St. It is open 24/7 and offers a quick walk to the hotel lobby.
Will there be food and drinks?
Absolutely! Come hungry and ready to celebrate. Dinner and drinks will be served during the reception, followed by plenty of dancing and late-night fun.
Where are you registered?
Your presence at our wedding is truly the greatest gift. For anyone who would like to celebrate with a gift, our registry information can be found on the Registry section of our wedding website.
Can I take photos during the wedding?
During the ceremony we ask that phones and cameras remain put away so everyone can be fully present while our photographer captures the moment. Once the ceremony is over, take as many as you'd like!
